Hotel expert Matthias Hautli joins acquisition team at International Campus
International Campus GmbH (IC), a company specialising in temporary living concepts for students and professionals, has increased its acquisition team as part of its expansion plans. Since April 2021, Matthias Hautli has been on board as Senior Transaction Manager, in charge of new projects for the brands THE FIZZ and HVNS in Southern Germany and Austria. Prior to joining the team, he worked in the hotel advisory and transactions division at Engel & Völkers for more than four years, most recently as a Director. Before that, he was a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young Real Estate. Matthias Hautli is familiar with the Austrian market due to his work at the hotel consultancy Kohl & Partner, where he was a partner and location manager of the Vienna office until 2015.
“We want to further expand our range of apartments in attractive cities – with new buildings, acquisitions or by converting hotels or office buildings. With his hotel expertise, Matthias Hautli is the perfect match for our team”, says Gerold Springer, Director Acquisition.
THE FIZZ – which is designed for students – is now available in the German cities of Aachen, Berlin, Bremen, Darmstadt, Frankfurt am Main, Freiburg, Hamburg, Hanover and Munich. In addition, IC operates two houses for students in Vienna and one in Prague.
The brand HVNS (English “havens”) caters specifically for the needs of professionals. The first apartments are already available for rent in Hamburg, while the opening of HVNS buildings in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main is planned for 2022.
