IC and Dutch shareholders part company
The previous joint venture IC Netherlands B.V. between Germany-based International Campus Group S.à r.l., DENZ Holding B.V. and MKED Holding B.V. has been dissolved in mid-December. Dutch based DENZ holding B.V. has taken over all of the shares previously held by International Campus Group S.à r.l. and MKED Holding B.V. and will continue to operate the existing business, most importantly the operation of the student housing properties located in Amsterdam and Rotterdam with 1,466 apartments, under a different brand in the future.
For International Campus, the Netherlands remains one of the important core markets for student apartments. Under the leadership of the Dutch Head of Acquisitions, Rogier Hetterschijt, two new properties have already been acquired for the brand THE FIZZ, the first of them will open in the winter semester of 2021.
