International Campus Group appoints Gawain Smart as CEO and Rainer Nonnengässer as Executive Chairman
International Campus Group (IC), a company specialising in temporary living concepts for students and professionals, announces that Gawain S.E. Smart will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of International Campus Group and Rainer Nonnengässer, the current CEO, will move to a new role as Executive Chairman of the company. Both appointments are to be effective as of 1 June 2021.
Gawain Smart has been advising IC and its majority shareholder Brookfield for over a year now. The 51-year-old Canadian brings over 20 years of institutional real estate experience, most recently at Oxford Properties Group, and has worked across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
