In the inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal Coli\u00adving Awards com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon, the com\u00adpa\u00adny, which spe\u00adcia\u00adli\u00adses in tem\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adry living con\u00adcepts, won the cate\u00adgo\u00adry Buil\u00adding & Archi\u00adtec\u00adtu\u00adre with its pro\u00adject The Cube in the Dutch city of Utrecht. The modern pro\u00adper\u00adty, which will be ope\u00adning its doors in autumn 2021, fea\u00adtures 639 stu\u00addent apart\u00adments.  The Cube is a joint deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment by IC, Van Wij\u00adnen and Rock\u00adfield Real Estate. It will be ope\u00adra\u00adted by IC under the brand THE FIZZ.  <\/p>\n

Lead Judge Mat\u00adthi\u00adas Holl\u00adwich show\u00aded hims\u00adelf alre\u00ada\u00addy impres\u00adsed by the pro\u00adject during the nomi\u00adna\u00adti\u00adon: \u201cThe exte\u00adri\u00ador car\u00adving in the volu\u00adme with access stairs, amen\u00adi\u00adty pro\u00adgrams, and roof ter\u00adraces break down the buil\u00adding mass with iden\u00adti\u00adty gene\u00adra\u00adting qua\u00adli\u00adty, while soci\u00adal\u00adly con\u00adnec\u00adting all levels of the buil\u00adding. The cube is like a city within the city, whe\u00adre peo\u00adp\u00adle of all back\u00adgrounds come tog\u00ade\u00adther. This is a win\u00adning con\u00adcept.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cube-shaped buil\u00adding fea\u00adtures two step\u00adped towers of 15 storeys each. Not only will it be the tal\u00adlest buil\u00adding in the green dis\u00adtrict of Over\u00advecht; its striking archi\u00adtec\u00adtu\u00adre will also make it the new land\u00admark of the neigh\u00adbour\u00adhood. In Febru\u00adary 2021, THE FIZZ Pra\u00adgue alre\u00ada\u00addy won the pres\u00adti\u00adgious archi\u00adtec\u00adtu\u00adre award \u201cBest of Real\u00adty 2020\u201d in the hotel cate\u00adgo\u00adry. \u201cIt is won\u00adderful to see that our aim of crea\u00adting stu\u00addent housing in an atmo\u00adsphe\u00adre that is archi\u00adtec\u00adtu\u00adral\u00adly as well as soci\u00adal\u00adly and func\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adly sophisti\u00adca\u00adted has been con\u00adfirm\u00aded by the posi\u00adti\u00adve feed\u00adback from the com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty\u201d, says Non\u00adnen\u00adg\u00e4s\u00adser.<\/p>\n

The Coli\u00adving Awards were pre\u00adsen\u00adted for the first time on 6 May 2021, in the con\u00adtext of the Co-Liv Sum\u00admit. Win\u00adners were sel\u00adec\u00adted in ele\u00adven cate\u00adgo\u00adries from among more than 100 sub\u00admit\u00adted pro\u00adjects.  The win\u00adners were deter\u00admi\u00adned by a public voting pro\u00adcess on social media, a mul\u00adti-mem\u00adber jury and the main juror of the respec\u00adti\u00adve cate\u00adgo\u00adry. The impres\u00adsi\u00adve buil\u00adding in Utrecht was alre\u00ada\u00addy the front\u00adrun\u00adner in the public voting pro\u00adcess, with 40 per\u00adcent of all votes for the cate\u00adgo\u00adry Buil\u00adding & Archi\u00adtec\u00adtu\u00adre.<\/p>\n
