THE FIZZ Freiburg Mitte<\/h3>\n

The Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus Group (IC), a leading developer and operator of Micro Living concepts in Northern Europe just opened its new \u201cTHE FIZZ Freiburg Mitte\u201d in time for the start of the winter semester 2021 \/ 2022. The six-storey student apart\u00adment block is located on Habsburger Strasse in the inner city of Freiburg, a short walk from the main campus buildings of Freiburg Univer\u00adsity. It offers exten\u00adsive commu\u00adnity areas and 344 fully equipped apart\u00adments for single- and double occup\u00adancy whose rooms range from 18 to 58 square metres in size. Twelve of the apart\u00adments are rent-controlled. THE FIZZ Freiburg Mitte extends over a gross floor area (GFA) of 15,200 square metres, and divides into two building sections: one perimeter block building with a capti\u00advating fa\u00e7ade, and an atrium in the inner courtyard. The under\u00adground car park provides 74 car and 350 bicycle parking spots. For IC, this is actually the second apart\u00adment building for students in this campus town, after having opened THE FIZZ Z\u00e4hringen with 149 apart\u00adments in 2014.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very glad we managed to open our state-of-the-art house in Freiburg in time for the semester that is about to start, and have been welco\u00adming our first tenants since early August. Freiburg is a leafy and lively campus town with a long history that attracts thousands of new students from inside and outside Germany every year. Plenty of reason for us to open another THE FIZZ in Freiburg,\u201d said Michael Stump, Chief Opera\u00adtions Officer of the IC Group.<\/p>\n

Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus counts among the Micro Living pioneers, and recently celebrated its tenth anniver\u00adsary. Today, you will find THE FIZZ in Aachen, Berlin, Bremen, Darmstadt, Frank\u00adfurt, Freiburg, Hanover, Munich, Prague and Vienna. This coming fall, another innova\u00adtive residen\u00adtial product will come on-stream in Hamburg that is intended for profes\u00adsio\u00adnals and called HVNS.<\/p>\n

Roughly 24,000 students were enrolled at the Univer\u00adsity of Freiburg for the winter semester 2019 \/ 2020, with 18 percent of the students coming from abroad, and nearly 53 percent of them being female. The univer\u00adsity offers classes in a total of 288 degree programs, taught at 100 insti\u00adtutes. Freiburg im Breisgau has a popula\u00adtion of nearly 231,000 residents (as 31\/12\/2020).<\/p>\n
