It will be operated by Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus under its brand \u201cTHE FIZZ\u201d. Located on the science and techno\u00adlogy campus in the up-and-coming, central Zab\u0142ocie neigh\u00adbour\u00adhood, the apart\u00adment building will boast around 1,000 apart\u00adments for students and young profes\u00adsio\u00adnals. Further\u00admore, \u201cTHE FIZZ Krakow\u201d will offer exten\u00adsive communal areas, 88 under\u00adground parking spaces and 33 outdoor parking spaces and racks for around 970 bikes.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander Gulya, Head of Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Develo\u00adp\u00adment of Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus Group, explains: \u201cKrakow is the cultural, scien\u00adtific and economic centre of southern Poland, and the heart of a region of more than nine million people. The city is booming and has a young, inter\u00adna\u00adtional and vibrant techno\u00adlogy and start-up scene that is attrac\u00adting many well-educated young people. What may surprise many is that there are more young people studying in Krakow than in Berlin, Vienna or Prague.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Thorsten Leipert, Managing Director of Alkyon Partners, adds: \u201cWe have been opera\u00adting in CEE for more than 25 years now, and in that time we have seen through projects with a value in excess of EUR 2 billion either alone or with partners. Student housing is a quite new idea in Central and Eastern Europe, though there are some very interes\u00adting hot spots for inves\u00adtors\u00adsuch as Krakow. We are there\u00adfore delighted to have found a well-known student housing specia\u00adlist with opera\u00adtions throug\u00adhout Europe in Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTHE FIZZ Krakow\u201d will have seven and eight floors and a central entrance with a recep\u00adtion and building manager. In keeping with the living and service concept of THE FIZZ, commu\u00adnity will be at the heart of this student and young profes\u00adsional residence as well. Key elements of the commu\u00adnity concept include commu\u00adnity events, shared spaces, value-added services for day-to-day life and on-site contacts. The concept also offers plenty of room for personal and social space to meet the needs of all residents.<\/p>\n<p>Krakow is Poland\u2019s second-largest city with a popula\u00adtion of around 760,000. More than nine million people live within a radius of 100 kilome\u00adtres. The Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine can be quickly reached from Krakow.
