International Campus expands with a new building and 344 THE FIZZ apartments in Freiburg<\/h3>\n

In August 2021, Germany\u2019s tenth THE FIZZ will be opening in Freiburg im Breisgau. Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus GmbH (IC), which specia\u00adlises in tempo\u00adrary housing concepts for students and profes\u00adsio\u00adnals, is construc\u00adting a new building with 344 student apart\u00adments right in the centre, at Habsburger Stra\u00dfe 132. It is the brand\u2019s second building in the popular southern German univer\u00adsity city, along\u00adside THE FIZZ Z\u00e4hringen with 149 apart\u00adments. Modern flats with high-quality furnis\u00adhings, measu\u00adring between 18 and 58 m\u00b2, are taking shape in two parts of the building on a gross floor area of around 15,000 m\u00b2. 12 of these apart\u00adments benefit from reduced rental prices. With the seven-storey develo\u00adp\u00adment at the edge of the block, IC is closing one of the last vacant lots in this central location. The division of the fa\u00e7ade into several sections and the striking roof shape allow the building to blend in harmo\u00adniously with its surroun\u00addings. The four-storey atrium building on the inside of the block comple\u00adments the selec\u00adtion of room types to meet the diffe\u00adrent requi\u00adre\u00adments of the students.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to expand further with THE FIZZ, especi\u00adally in Germany, Austria and the Nether\u00adlands. Even during the pandemic, our student apart\u00adment buildings are experi\u00aden\u00adcing strong demand and we are confi\u00addent that as the vacci\u00adna\u00adtion rate increases, the general situa\u00adtion for students will also return to normal\u201d, says Michael Stapf, Chief Invest\u00adment Officer at IC. <\/p>\n

All apart\u00adments at THE FIZZ feature a private bathroom, a modern kitchenette and internet. Students can enjoy an active housing commu\u00adnity led by the house managers, as well as many common areas for cooking, studying, playing and relaxing, along with a range of other services. Over 70 parking spaces are available to tenants in the under\u00adground car park, and there is space for up to 350 bicycles in a roofed outdoor area. <\/p>\n

Thanks to the central location, Freiburg Univer\u00adsity, various shopping facili\u00adties and M\u00fcnster\u00adplatz are only a stone\u2019s throw away. The central station is within walking distance.  <\/p>\n

THE FIZZ can also be found in other German cities, namely Aachen, Berlin, Bremen, Darmstadt, Frank\u00adfurt am Main, Hamburg, Hanover and Munich. In addition, IC operates two houses for students in Vienna and one in Prague.<\/p>\n
