Januar 2023. Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus, a leading player in the European student housing market, has completed the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of a portfolio compri\u00adsing five student apart\u00adment blocks. This acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion is one of the largest transac\u00adtions in the German-speaking region in the student housing market in 2022 and repres\u00adents a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant milestone for Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus, as it conti\u00adnues to grow its footprint in the student housing market and profes\u00adsional urban living space. The proper\u00adties are already operated by Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus under its brand THE FIZZ and are located in Berlin (K\u00f6peni\u00adcker Strasse), Darmstadt (Sch\u00f6f\u00adfer\u00adstrasse), Frank\u00adfurt am Main (Mainzer Landstrasse), Hanover (Am Kl\u00e4pper\u00adberg) and Vienna (Dresdner Strasse). The accom\u00admo\u00adda\u00adtions available at the five proper\u00adties add nearly 1,900 beds overall. Nevert\u00adheless, the sector conti\u00adnues to innovate and we are planning to imple\u00adment our new design and service concept in all of our newly acquired proper\u00adties by upgrading the commu\u00adnity spaces and by giving apart\u00adments a make-over,\u201d explained Michael Stapf.<\/p>\n<p id>\u200d<\/p>\n<p id>Univer\u00adsity enrol\u00adment in the cities where the just-purchased student apart\u00adment blocks are located adds up to a current total of more than 560,000 students.<\/p>\n<p id>\u200d<\/p>\n<p id>In the current market, student housing is proving to be a stable invest\u00adment class, just as it was during the pandemic. Accor\u00adding to the latest Student Housing Spotlight from Savills, the transac\u00adtion market conti\u00adnues to rush from one record to the next: In Europe, the volume in the first three quarters was around 11.7 billion. Euros, which corre\u00adsponds to an increase of 130 percent compared to the previous year.
