More than 90 per cent of the 149 high-quality, fully-furnished one and two-room apart\u00adments have already been leased. While a few of the apart\u00adments constructed in the second phase are still available, all first-phase 116 apart\u00adments have been sold. For the manage\u00adment and letting of \u201cTHE FIZZ+ Freiburg\u201c, which is constructed with the low-energy building standard \u201cFreiburger Effizi\u00adenz\u00adhaus 60\u201d, Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus AG is respon\u00adsible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Horst Lieder, CEO of Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus AG: \u201cJust in time for the start of the winter semester 2014\/15 and the tradi\u00adtional welcome-day of the Univer\u00adsity of Freiburg in the stadium of SC Freiburg the \u201cTHE FIZZ+\u201d is ready. We are delighted that our premium student residence has been almost fully leased before the semester has even begun.\u201d Around half of the apart\u00adments are occupied by inter\u00adna\u00adtional students, many of them on the European Erasmus + programme. \u201cWe wish all students a warm welcome as well as a successful start to their studies,\u201d Lieder added.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTHE FIZZ+ Freiburg\u201d offers a high quality of living and studying thanks to spacious, fully-furnished apart\u00adments of between 27 and 30 square metres on average, most of them with their own terraces or balco\u00adnies. Other highlights include seminar rooms, a laundry room, and a house coordi\u00adnator, all of course in an excel\u00adlent location. The student residence has around 100 spaces for bicycles and 29 parking spaces for cars as well as an inner garden area. The priva\u00adtely financed student residence on the corner of Z\u00e4hringer Stra\u00dfe and Tulla\u00adstra\u00dfe repres\u00adents an invest\u00adment volume of 2&nbsp;roughly \u20ac22 million for both construc\u00adtion phases. The all-in rents, which include electri\u00adcity, heating, water, furnis\u00adhings, high speed internet access and all ancil\u00adlary charges, start at around \u20ac450 per month.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>Aribert Frece of Stuckert Wohnbau AG, that developed \u201cTHE FIZZ+ Freiburg\u201d in a joint venture with GEWO GmbH, commented: \u201cDue to the innova\u00adtive concept and high-quality construc\u00adtion of the student residence, we have struck a chord with inves\u00adtors, while at the same time easing the tight market for student housing in Freiburg.\u201d Frece added: \u201cNow that \u201cTHE FIZZ+\u201d is finished, it is easy to see that it fits in well with the rest of the Z\u00e4hringen neigh\u00adbour\u00adhood. Thanks to the building\u2019s well-designed struc\u00adture, the concierge service and the excel\u00adlent insula\u00adting materials that have been used, the noise level won\u2019t be any higher than when the Esso petrol station used to be there.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With over 215,000 inhabi\u00adtants, the city of Freiburg im Breisgau is a renowned univer\u00adsity town with a prospe\u00adring economy. Besides the Albert Ludwig Univer\u00adsity of Freiburg, the city is home to other educa\u00adtional and research estab\u00adlish\u00adments, inclu\u00adding insti\u00adtutes of the Max Planck Gesell\u00adschaft and the Fraun\u00adhofer Gesell\u00adschaft.
