{"id":1682,"date":"2016-09-26T09:55:33","date_gmt":"2016-09-26T07:55:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ic-campus.com\/ic-netherlands-opens-two-student-residences\/"},"modified":"2023-06-20T17:42:17","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T15:42:17","slug":"ic-netherlands-opens-two-student-residences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ic-campus.com\/en\/ic-netherlands-opens-two-student-residences\/","title":{"rendered":"IC Netherlands opens two student residences"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>IC Netherlands opens two student residences in Amsterdam and plans the completion of three further properties by mid-2017<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Around 2,000 apart\u00adments completed or under construc\u00adtion in the Nether\u00adlands<\/li>\n<li>Capital of \u20ac144 million raised from insti\u00adtu\u00adtional inves\u00adtors<\/li>\n<li>IC Nether\u00adlands is the seed investor of the \u201cDutch Student Housing and Young Profes\u00adsional Fund\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Further property acqui\u00adsi\u00adtions are planned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>IC&nbsp; Nether\u00adlands,&nbsp; a&nbsp; Dutch&nbsp; subsi\u00addiary&nbsp; of&nbsp; the&nbsp; German student&nbsp; housing&nbsp; specia\u00adlist&nbsp; Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus&nbsp; AG,&nbsp; has&nbsp; already&nbsp; completed&nbsp; and&nbsp; opened&nbsp; two student&nbsp; residences:&nbsp; the Zeebur\u00adge\u00adrei\u00adland property&nbsp; with&nbsp; 364 student&nbsp; apart\u00adments&nbsp; and&nbsp; the&nbsp; NDSM property with 380 apart\u00adments close to Neder\u00adland\u00adsche Scheeps\u00adbouw Maats\u00adch\u00adappij, which was once Europe\u2019s&nbsp; largest&nbsp; shipyard.&nbsp; Three&nbsp; proper\u00adties&nbsp; are&nbsp; currently&nbsp; being&nbsp; constructed:&nbsp; Lelylaan&nbsp; with 590 student apart\u00adments, Laan van Spartaan with 361 apart\u00adments and an additional residence in Lelylaan&nbsp; with&nbsp; 279&nbsp; apart\u00adments&nbsp; for&nbsp; young&nbsp; profes\u00adsio\u00adnals.&nbsp; These&nbsp; five&nbsp; apart\u00adment&nbsp; buildings&nbsp; in Amsterdam are owned by the \u201cDutch Student Housing and Young Profes\u00adsional Fund\u201d, for which around \u20ac144 million was raised from Dutch insti\u00adtu\u00adtional inves\u00adtors. IC Nether\u00adlands acted as the seed investor for the fund. Further property acqui\u00adsi\u00adtions are planned.<\/p>\n<p>Wouter van den Eijnden, Managing Partner of IC Nether\u00adlands: \u201cWe are delighted to have already completed and opened the first two Amsterdam student residences Zeebur\u00adge\u00adrei\u00adland and NDSM as planned. Three further apart\u00adment buildings are expected to be completed by mid-2017.\u201d Van den Eijnden explains: \u201cWe raised around \u20ac144 million from Dutch insti\u00adtu\u00adtional inves\u00adtors for the \u2018Dutch Student Housing and Young Profes\u00adsional Fund\u2019. The preli\u00admi\u00adnary invest\u00adment objec\u00adtive is 5,000 apart\u00adments in the Nether\u00adlands. We have an attrac\u00adtive pipeline and continue to inten\u00adsi\u00advely review suitable project develo\u00adp\u00adments and existing proper\u00adties for acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion for example in Amsterdam and other major cities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, more than 480,000 students were in higher educa\u00adtion in the Nether\u00adlands.<\/p>\n<p>Horst Lieder, CEO of Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus AG: \u201cOur subsi\u00addiary IC Nether\u00adlands plays a major role in the inter\u00adna\u00adtional strategy of Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus. The Dutch insti\u00adtu\u00adtional capital raised is evidence of inves\u00adtors\u2019 high level of confi\u00addence in the invest\u00adment strategy.
