A total of 303 single and double<br>\napart\u00adments are being built on a 3000 m\u00b2 site in the Nordstadt district of the city.<br>\nInter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus has taken over the new build project from a local partner at an<br>\nadvanced stage of develo\u00adp\u00adment. The planed date for comple\u00adtion is the summer<br>\nsemester of 2015. The apart\u00adment building on the corner of Weiden\u00addamm and<br>\nAm Kla\u0308perberg repres\u00adents an invest\u00adment volume of around \u20ac24.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Horst Lieder, CEO of Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus AG: \u201cThe first ground-breaking marks the<br>\nstart of construc\u00adtion of our new student residence building in the centre of Hanover.<br>\nBy the summer semester of 2015 there will be over 300 new high quality single and<br>\ndouble apart\u00adments, which will ease the tight student housing market in the<br>\nprospe\u00adrous state capital.\u201d Lieder added: \u201cWe are inves\u00adting in Hanover because we<br>\nhave found here excel\u00adlent precon\u00addi\u00adtions for a long-term and successful engage\u00adment<br>\nin student housing. Lower Saxony\u2019s capital city has a very attrac\u00adtive univer\u00adsity<br>\nenviron\u00adment, in the future there will still be a high demand for small-scale residen\u00adtial<br>\naccom\u00admo\u00adda\u00adtion with a useful mix of services.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus will operate the student residence building in the Nordstadt<br>\ndistrict of Hanover under the brand name of \u201cTHE FIZZ\u201d. The building, which has a<br>\nmaximum of seven storeys, will be built to the same quality standards as others of\n<\/p>\n<p>the brand. The archi\u00adtec\u00adtural firm of Schneider + Sendel\u00adbach of Bruns\u00adwick was<br>\nrespon\u00adsible for the design up to planning permis\u00adsion. The main contractor is Ko\u0308ster<br>\nBau GmbH of Osnabru\u0308ck. An average-sized apart\u00adment will be about 22 m\u00b2 and be<br>\nfully furnished. \u201cTHE FIZZ Hannover\u201d is located close to the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz<br>\nUniver\u00adsity, the teaching hospital Klinikum Hannover Nordstadt and the Max Planck<br>\nInsti\u00adtute. The S\u2011Bahn station \u201cNordstadt\u201d and the tram station \u201cAn der Stran\u00adgriede\u201d<br>\nare within a few minutes\u2019 walking distance.
