International Campus celebrates ground-breaking for new boarding house in Munich <\/h2>\n

Construc\u00adtion started on centrally located tempo\u00adrary living space with 157 apart\u00adments<\/li>\n

Today, Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus celebrated the ground-breaking of its new boarding house at Landwehr\u00adstra\u00dfe 75 in Munich with around 60 guests. A total of 157 apart\u00adments with a central entrance area and a green inner courtyard are expected to be built by the begin\u00adning of 2020 in the Ludwigs\u00advor\u00adstadt-Isarvor\u00adstadt district near the main train station and the There\u00adsi\u00aden\u00adwiese. The five- and seven-storey building with gross floor space of around 8,400 square metres will also have an under\u00adground car park with 41 parking spaces and attrac\u00adtive common areas. The general contractor is W. Markgraf GmbH & Co KG from Munich. Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus is the project developer and will later operate the property.<\/p>\n
Horst Lieder, Managing Director of Inter\u00adna\u00adtional Campus, says: \u201cWe are delighted that so many guests attended the ground-breaking and of course that construc\u00adtion has begun. By the begin\u00adning of 2020, we will erect a modern boarding house here in the lively Wiesen\u00adviertel, with a total of 157 fully equipped apart\u00adments and ample parking spaces. I am certain that the building will fit well into the neigh\u00adbour\u00adhood.\u201d Lieder continued: \u201cWe are creating additional living space for people looking for a \u201ctempo\u00adrary home away from home\u201d such as project employees here at Landwehr\u00adstra\u00dfe 75, where previously there was an unusable office building from the 1970s.\u201d<\/p>\n
Munich is a safe and attrac\u00adtive location with strong growth momentum and a high quality of life. Its popula\u00adtion, economic output and purcha\u00adsing power are all steadily incre\u00adasing. Accor\u00adding to forecasts by the City of Munich, there will be around 1.7 million residents in Munich in 2018. Purcha\u00adsing power amounted to around EUR 30,800 per resident in 2015, compared to the German average of around EUR 22,300. As many as six DAX 30 compa\u00adnies are based in Munich.<\/p>\n
